Hussein Rassim

#Oud - from Irak

Hussein is a young Oud player from Irak, fromed by great musical schools in his country. He founded the band Baghdad and when he arrived in Belgium in 2015 he participated in the album of Amerli, with Refugees for Refugees with MuziekPublique.

Hussein Rassim founded the band Nawaris and recorded an album with the music label Homerecord.

The Homelands Molenbeek team

It's a meeting between Hussein Rassim and the violinist Amele Metlini. Together with the team of the Maison des Jeunes du Foyer, they will co-create a score, as well as twenty or so primary school children from Molenbeek.

It is a beautiful realization of the values ​​of the Homelands project.

MAISON DES CULTURES ET DE LA COHESION SOCIALE DE MOLENBEEK & LE FOYER :

On 30 March at 6 pm, 4 rue Mommaerts 1080 Brussels

Under the leadership of Hussein Rassim (music) and his colleagues, a group of young people from the area (Le Foyer) and a group of children from an out-of-school workshop (Ecole 6) (MCCS) will come together in an audiovisual and music show on the core theme of the project.
