Tony Bland Degli

# Fashion designer from Togo

Tony Bland started with tailored-made clothes and then developed a ready-to-wear brand that also includes lingerie, perfume and accessories.

It is a priority for him to make collections accessible to all and especially larger sizes, too often ignored.

To him, fashion is a living language, with many influences and contradictions.

Enna Halie

My name is Enna Halie, creative contributor/project manager at Beeldenstorm vzw. The decision to participate in the Homelands project was taken since the underlying philosophy of the international Yehudi Mehudin Foundation, "transforming society through creative arts” underscores Beeldenstorm’s own mission to promote integration through art and culture.

Working alongside Tony Bland enhances our commitment to the art of textiles as we have a theater and costume department as wel asme_homelands my own background as Fashion Director with a bachelor in fashion design from ESMOD Paris.

Preview on 12 April from 10 am to noon.

Beeldenstorm - Bergensesteenweg 145 Chaussée de Mons – 1070 anderlecht

The work will be exhibited during our final event at the Pianofabriek on 4 May (to be specified) or may be shown in a public place (to be specified). Tony Bland (fashion design) guides adult participants of different ages within a Batik workshop. At the end of their work, a Batik installation will be organized, evoking a place where everybody can feel at home.
